shopping in Brunei or cross border?

Assalamu'alaikum readers :D

recently ada tersiar satu article/open letter dalam local newspaper and the headline itself instantly stirs quite a debate among the locals arah Facebook.

let the headline speaks 👌

setiap individual ada their own opinion and no one can 100% judge yang opinion durang atu wrong.

if you (my non-Bruneian readers) ask me adakah I prefer to shop in my country ataupun luar negara? in this case let's just bagi example Miri, Malaysia lah ahh.. Miri is like the nearest shopping heaven for Bruneians though. LOL.

for me if i am given $100 to buy books and clothes, i will choose to shop at Miri. sebab di Miri lebih banyak pilihan buku and pakaian yang lawa-lawa. plus the currency exchange of B$ to RM memang tip top. B$1 = RM3 plus. I can buy more ngan RM value. YET, this is only happen if Fae ngam pigi Miri. if not, i am okay shopping di Brunei saja.

nevertheless, i don't mind spending $100 on food and personal care products at local store. Fae jenis insecure sikit if cuba food bila pigi luar negara.

jujur Fae katakan walaupun harga barang di brunei ada yang expensive tapi Fae inda obsess sangat with the thought of comparing harga local dengan harga kadai luar negara.

wallet lagi cepat menipis, ada hati kunun kan shopping di Miri. LOL.

bagi Fae dimana saja urang atu mau shopping, asal inda membazir. bali barang banyak-banyak tapi yang dipakai sebuting dua saja. kan dah waste money tu. yang penting kawal nafsu berbelanja.

so~ that's my honest opinion.
